Message from Dr. Abdolrahim Hazini

Distinguished Colleagues and Global Leaders,

Today, I stand before you not only as a Hematology and Oncology subspecialist, but as the voice of thousands of patients whose eyes are fixed on the light of tomorrow.

As CEO of the National Cancer Network and on behalf of the Social Responsibility Committee, it is with a deep sense of honor and responsibility that I welcome you to the 3rd International Congress of Cancer Genomics.

Here, science is no longer confined to the laboratory—it flows into the arteries of hope itself. Every genome is a portrait of human life, a heartbeat pulsing within every line of data. We are not here merely to discover; we are here to change the course of history.

With the united strength of 61 tireless charities standing steadfast against the shadow of cancer, we proclaim a simple truth: science without humanity is blind, and humanity without science is defenseless.

This moment is a call—to scientists, leaders, and policymakers—to begin a new chapter. A chapter where no breakthrough is locked behind closed doors, and no human being is left outside the gates of treatment, no matter where they are born or what they can afford.

May the world, years from now, remember this day as the day when humanity and science stood together and declared their resolve to end the suffering of cancer—forever.

With respect, hope, and a pledge that endures to the last breath,

Dr. Abdolrahim Hazini

Hematology & Oncology Subspecialist
