Given the growing importance of cancer as one of the most serious challenges facing health systems in Iran and across the world, and as a key concern of all those responsible for safeguarding public health, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences is honored to host the 3rd International Cancer Genomics Congress (CGC2026). This event will bring together a distinguished group of leading scientists and top experts in the fields of cancer and genomics from around the globe. Undoubtedly, this valuable congress aimed at bridging research, technology, and clinical practice and translating molecular knowledge into practical strategies for the prevention and treatment of cancer will be an effective step toward the convergence of science and technology in health. It will also provide a unique opportunity to advance our understanding of cancer genomics and its pivotal role in early diagnosis, targeted therapy, and improving the quality of life of patients with cancer.
The CGC2026 Congress, founded on the three core principles of science, innovation, and synergy, offers a platform for the exchange of ideas, the expansion of international collaborations, and the strengthening of ties between academia, industry, and the health system, so that scientific achievements can move toward commercialization and clinical application. Moreover, the organization of the first provincial edition of this congress in the coming spring in Isfahan, the “Half of the World,” by this university—recognized as one of the country’s leading institutions in health promotion and medical education—will create an unparalleled space for scientific exchange and the development of a practical, knowledge-based discourse throughout the country and the region.
